This scarf represents the Republic Flag of Newfoundland. It is a symbol of local pride and independance. The tricolour is composed of elements from three other flags: Pink for the Protestant English, Green for the Catholic Irish, and White from Scotland to symbolize peace. A specialized card with the history of the flag is included with purchase of this scarf.
